Heating Technology: Getting Greener

Heat Pump Technology
WCCC's Heating Technology Program now includes training on
Heat Pump Technology Installation and Repair. More heat pump equipment for training has been purchased with Workforce Development funding and Instructor, Todd Cushing, is grateful it has finally arrived. Training through Workforce Development was recently announced via campus email. This instruction would be a great add on for electrical students. Successful students will leave the training course certified to work with refrigerants and ready to install heat pumps, including wiring to an existing breaker box.
Current enrolled heating technology students are still learning how to service and repair older technologies and work with propane fueled units. Thank you for being willing to work in tight spaces when necessary to keep the rest of us warm.
